Ikhaya Art House

Privacy & verification

This notice describes the current launch-preview website. It is not the final marketplace privacy policy.

Information you choose to share

Artist applications collect your public artist or studio name, email address, province, practice statement, optional portfolio link and information about one work. Collector enquiries collect your name, email and message, with the artwork reference when supplied. Newsletter-interest forms collect your email and consent.

How information is used

Form submissions are stored as private records in WordPress for the house administrators to review and respond to. Submitting an application does not publish your profile. Newsletter interest is recorded for launch; no automated newsletter service has been connected.

Your account and saved works

Collector accounts use WordPress and WooCommerce. Guest favourites are stored in this browser; signed-in favourites are stored with your user account. Necessary login/session cookies are used. Hosting and security systems may also keep technical logs for site operation and protection.

No identity-document uploads

Please do not submit identity documents, bank details, payment information or other sensitive records through these forms. A separate verification process must be prepared before such information is requested.

Access, correction and removal

Use the contact form to ask the house to correct or remove a submission, unsubscribe from the interest list, or discuss your account information. The team may need to verify that the request is yours. Retention periods, a dedicated privacy contact and final operational policies must be confirmed before transactional launch.
